The New Milton Residents' Association (NMRA) is an Association which represents the residents of the Parish of New Milton, including the areas of Ashley, Bashley and Barton on Sea. We work together to represent the collective views of our cohesive community, to highlight important issues and to work in partnership with others to make New Milton a better place to live, work and play.

The New Milton Residents' Association is organising The New Milton Litter Pick 2018 at locations around New Milton in June. You can Volunteer to be involved by Registering your interest on the Litter Pick Web site page.

The New Milton Neighbourhood Plan has been launched alongside a Public Consultation which runs until the 15th May, 2018.
The next General Meeting of the Association is on 10th July, 2018 at The Community Centre.

With membership of your Residents' Association, you will receive 12 issues of the 24 Page Colour "Focus" delivered to your door by our volunteer network - and you can attend all of our General Meetings.
All of this will only cost you £3.00 per year !
We have six general meetings a year plus an Annual General Meeting and Open Forum - generally held at The New Milton Community Centre and they alternate in timings between 2:15 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Topics vary widely, generally in reponse to requests made to us.
Community in Action - a new group within NMRA to develop the social aspects of the association. The objective is to bring New Milton residents of all ages together, to enjoy themselves, with an aim of raising funds to support those who are less fortunate than ourselves.
We now represent some 3,300 households in our town and the organisation is run by a team of 12 Office Bearers and Committee. The stronger our membership, the stronger the voice we can have to influence various issues in the Town

*Regular meetings with our Town, District and County Councillors to discuss and review activities and future plans for the Town - echoing the views of our Members
* Continual monitoring of development plans for our town and where necessary the submission of comments to the appropriate authorities and local bodies.
* In Partnership with our local Police we are working to reinvigorate and extend the coverage of Neighbourhood Watch Schemes in the Town.
